This past Wednesday, River’s controversial coach gave a mini press conference after the team’s morning practice. He stated “The easiest thing to do would be to leave and for others to not insult me, but it would still leave the players and the remaining coach staff with the same problems.” In reference to his position, he stated “I don’t need to find work urgently to live, therefore I’m not staying for the money. If I leave, I’ll leave the club with a serious problem. The hardest thing to do is to stay and try to fix the situation. I have faith in my players, and we believe we’ll move forward.”
