Right from the break of dawn, it seemed that the weather had its own agenda in ruining the most important football match in Argentina. While the rain subdued a few times before the match, the risk of postponing the match was getting higher. After 10 minutes of the match, referee Hector Baldasso decided to suspend the match after the heavy rainfall prevented any further progress. Based on unofficial statements, the match will continue on Wednesday the 24th in an undisclosed time.
