The Peruvian midfielder from Lima, Peru has been in negotiations with River for about three weeks. Back and forth talks between his representative and River have been caused a great delay in his acquisition but there seems to be ‘light in the end of the tunnel’ after all. With his 22 years of age, he is said to be one of the Peru’s most promising players in the near future. Playing for Universidad de San Martin de Porres during his whole professional career, he has won two local championships and has been a regular starter in the squad.
His style and speed caught the attention of Coach Angel Cappa during his research for new players. In addition, Ballon has made some important appearance for his country’s national team which always serves as a spotlight for interested clubs. As the deadline to start the Aperture tournament begins to near, River is making the necessary steps to ensure a strong and competitive club. River’s past signings have not been the best for the club, but under new guidance from a new president and head coach, things could be positive from the start.
