Diego Buonanotte collided with a tree in a horrific automobile accident Saturday morning on Route 65, in district of Arribeños which is on the outer edge of Buenos Aires province. His three companions were killed upon arrival at the local hospital.Although Buonanotte is out of danger, he suffered a bruised lung and two fractures: the right humerus and right clavicle. The ‘Enano’ was air-lifted to a Buenos Aires hospital in the district of Palermo at the request of Daniel Passarella, and his condition is improving slowly.
Driving a Peugeot 307, Buonanotte crashed into a tree, and his three friends, ages 21 and 24, died while being transported to various hospitals in the area. Meanwhile, Buonanotte was immediately hospitalized in intensive care, but out of danger. In addition, doctors are concerned about his lungs as they fear they could collapse due to the amount of strain on the organs. Volunteer firefighters in Arribeños confirmed that Buonanotte was conscious at all times.
Before this unfortunate event, Buonanotte was linked to Spain’s Atletico Madrid in a transfer rumor. His name was all over Madrid sport websites before the crash, and now he is back on the headlines in the worst way.
