Today, 109 years ago, Club Atletico River Plate was born in the city of Buenos Aires. We have seen great and legendary players come and go, tournaments pass with successful and unsuccessful results, and countless fans support the ‘Millonarios‘ in good times and bad. Fast forward to 2010, and River is still a giant in the world of football. Despite the lack of positive results plaguing River lately, one cannot deny that the love for ‘the red band across the chest’ has no limit. Unconditioanl love and support for every corner of the globe continues to pour for the greatest club in Argentine football.
Club Atletico River Plate, we celebrate this day with tremendous honor, and thank you for the many glorious moments that have touched the lives of many worldwide. We will continue to support you in every which way and be there, in good times and bad.
