River’s new coach had an exceptional debut at the Monumental Stadium, with a 2-1 victory over Godoy Cruz. In addition, he issues a few remarks about the team’s and the reappearance of Diego Buonanotte.
“This place became the Monumental Stadium once again. The players were quick to react, self-motivated, and committed, in which they achieved a well-deserved victory. By playing well, they will get the support of the people,” stated Coach Cappa.
“It was too-little time to expect a perfect performance, but there were moments of good football and player reaction. Godoy Cruz was a good team, and that gave more merit to this first game,” stated the coach.
