River representative, Hernan Cordoba, is currently in talks to acquire the forward. With no future signings approaching River, this news comes at a time where speculation is its finest.
The 6 foot forward has been one of the top goal-scorers for the second division Paraguayan league, scoring 18 goals in 22 games during the 2008/2009 season. First division club Libertad owns the player’s pass and is asking for 3 million dollars, a high quote for River.
