Stadium Renovation Payments: “It is a very complex contract for a job of this magnitude. River had no liquid assets, causing the first deficit in nine years, and we felt that is was an intelligent formula. The debt will be cancelled when the percentages are met.”
Club Elections and Candidates: “Clearly, no one has hired as their image consultant. The important this is to being projects and ideas.”
River’s Current Situation: “We are in 13th place in the tournament, which is not good. It has been a year and four months since we last were champions, but this club has all its employees paid up-to-date, no tax liability, a museum, a University…”
Diego Buonanotte’s Future: “I hear an offer once a day, and I say this with sympathy and pride that a player of this caliber is in this club. We believe that it is wise, to make things clear, that the next Committee of Directors be in charge of this unless an Arab sheik comes and revolutionizes the economy of the club.”
