This past weekend, Gustavo Canales became River’s last reinforcement before the start of the Clausura Tournament. The Union Española (Chile) striker confirmed his arrival to River Plate, and is expected to arrive in Buenos Aires in the upcoming hours. The Argentine striker became one of the leading goal-scorers in Chile and was considered by many top clubs in South America.
River bought 70% of his transfer, valued at $1.03 million attached to a three-year contract. In regards to a few statements made to sports page, Diario Ole, Canales showed all his optimism.“I’m ready to play, but it all depends on how the coach will see me fit.
